SELLING & BUYING @ AUCTION
On-Site, In-House & On-Line
ON-SITE AUCTION INFORMATION- On-site is a term we use for auctions held at the sellers residence,
farm, place of business, or other desired location.  Typically these are large auctions, with plenty of space for
set-up & parking for the buyers. Oldham Auctions is capable of holding your auction as quick as you'd like,
but we recommend 3 weeks to a month to market & advertise your sale.  The sooner you call us, the sooner
we can start planning & preparing. First, we will sit down with the seller and go over the process, and what
you can expect.  Fees differ with the size & potential of your auction, and the advertising cost depends on
what you the seller will allow.  We do our best to minimize your advertising cost, but at the same time get the
word out to as many possible buyers.  After a contract has been approved and signed, we will start getting
pictures and a listing made.  From there it will go to our websites, newspapers, fliers, and emailed to
everyone on our mailing list.  We provide the seller with on-line bidding, trailers, tables, concession, mobile
office, and  computerized clerking to insure an organized auction. Our auctioneers, clerks, cashiers, ringmen,
and set-up crew conduct themselves professionally throughout your auction, and will assist you in any way
they can.  After your auction we will go over in detail your final settlement, and in most cases you will receive
your money the same day.
Call Brody @ 816-935-7439 to schedule a meeting.
BUYERS-  We will always give the best description possible to any item we sell, and disclose any problems
we are made aware of by the seller.  There are no buyer premiums at our on-site auctions.  The only fee you
are responsible for is if you use a credit card for payment.  Certain items will not be allowed to leave the
owners property until your check clears the bank.  Absentee bids may be left with us, but will need to be
settled on immediately following the auction.  If you are handicap please call us prior to the start of the
auction, and we will be sure to have easy access available.

IN-HOUSE AUCTION INFORMATION- This method of auction is different from on-site auctions in several
ways.  It is typically used for individuals & business's who do not have enough for their own on-site auction, or
space available.  Our 10,000 sqft building located in Bates City, Missouri has plenty of space inside, and 4
acres of ground for outside sales also.  To add your assets to our sales, simply call or email us, and we will
schedule a time to drop off.  Sales are held on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month at 1pm.  We do try to keep
our sales at the barn clean, so no junk please. All automobiles, and trailers must have clear titles. We do hold
special sales at our facility every month or so, and machinery sales as needed.  Our building is located on
I-70 frontage, and is easy to get to.  From I-70 take the Bates City exit, and go west 1 mile on the south
outer road.  Checks are mailed to the sellers within 4 days after the auction.  If you have machinery,
automobiles, equipment, tools, furniture, antiques, collectibles, or other clean assets, contact us so we can
get them added. For more information about our on-line auctions visit the
On-Line Auction Page. Call Brody
@ 816-935-7439 for more information.
BUYERS-  You will receive the same fair treatment as on-site sales. We will give you our best description,
and disclosure of any item we sell. There is a 8% buyers premium (up to $1000) on any item sold inside the
building.  We will hold your item for a few days, but ask you pick up asap.  New loads come in daily, so we
need the space.  Seating, and good food is available. A $20 gas card is given away at the end of the sale.
Sale starts at 1pm, doors open at 11am.

ON-LINE AUCTION INFORMATION- The internet has changed lots of things including how we conduct
auctions.  On-Line auctions gives us the capability to reach buyers from all over the world.  People are no
longer required to attend a auction in person, but instead can participate from their home or office.  On-line
auctions can benefit you as a seller in many ways, for example. Business owners, Individuals, Banks,
Collectors, Lenders, Farmers, etc.. now have the ability to sell their assets at auction using only a few
pictures and a detailed description.  This allows the seller to save overhead in transporting and delivering the
goods to be sold to a new location. We can handle 1 item or sell a total liquidation through our on-line
auctions. Call or e-mail Brody Oldham and a representative with Oldham Auctions will meet with you and go
over the process.
Our on-line website is: www.oldhamonlineauctions.com
BUYERS-  You will receive the same fair treatment as all of our other sales. We will give you our best
description, and disclosure of any item we sell. There is a 10% buyers premium on any item sold on-line but it
will not exceed $1000 per item. Our goal is to make the buying process as simple and convienant for the
buyers as possible.  Be sure to read the terms and location of every item before bidding.
